Political Science

            The Department of Political Science has been in existence in the college eversince its inception in 1956 and has been playing a magnificent role in the educationalactivity in the region. It is a matter of pride to state that a well acknowledgedmonumental educational, none other than Prof G Ram Reddy who worked as the VCof both Osmania University and Indira Gandhi Open University, and also as theChairman of the UGC was a faculty member of this department in the early years ofhis career. The department has 3 sanctioned posts with a weekly work load of 60hours.

         After the Nagarjuna Government College turned in to Autonomous in 2007 - 08. The Department of political science designed syllabus taking the changing needs of the day and studentsinto consideration. The members of the department have voluminous experience totheir credit imparting quality education to students. They keep themselves updatedabout the changing aspects of political science at the regional, National andInternational levels.
